Trip to Scotland
We recently completed a memorable removal trip from Truro to the beautiful Isle of Arran in Scotland. After a smooth load-up, we travelled north and caught a ferry to the island to deliver a customer's belongings into a shipping container. Despite the straightforward move and a happy customer, the weather turned on us—strong winds led to ferry cancellations, and we faced the real possibility of being stuck on the island for Christmas. Thankfully, after two days of waiting, the wind eased and we made it home just in time. During our unexpected stay, the locals were incredibly welcoming—many shared stories of Cornish connections and rallied behind us, hoping we'd make it back for the holidays. It was a challenging but heartwarming trip that reminded us why we love what we do.
